Separate moisture control system for chanter and drones.
The drone moisture control system consists of three slim cylinders filled with moisture absorbing gel beads. Each cylinder attaches to
the base of the drone stock. Included in each connector is a Quick Stop drone valve to assist with clean starts and
cut-offs. The tension of the valve can be adjusted via a new screw feature.
The chanter moisture control system has been designed to help reduce moisture
in the pipe bag from reaching the
chanter reed. The chanter moisture control system complements the drone
moisture control system to "...keep the chanter reed drier so
you can play longer."

Silica Gel Beads
|
An alternative to using desicant rocks (like those that come standard with the Ross bags). The silica gel is
impregnated with a an organic substance as an indicating agent that changes color from orange to green as the
silica picks up moisture and becomes saturated.
The silica gel can be regenerated either by heating in the oven or microwave.
